Visitors' Center

The Visitors’ Center was originally built with funds from BGCI in 2005, when Belize Botanic Gardens hosted a conference for Caribbean Botanic Gardens for Conservation.

Today this multi-function building is where groups meet, have meals, listen to and give presentations. For students staying at the Guest House, its a short walk to the Center and evenings are a good time to meet, watch movies, play games, enjoy ping pong, use the Besst Library or just hang out.

During the day visiting groups can take advantage of shaded outdoor seating under the pergola and an open grassy area, with plenty of space to play volleyball.

The Visitors’ Center is available for rent for meetings and special events.  It’s the perfect place to have your family event or wedding.
