Visitors' Center

The Visitors’ Center was built in 2005 with funds from (BGCI) Botanic Gardens Conservation International, when Belize Botanic Gardens hosted a conference for the Caribbean Botanic Gardens for Conservation.

Today this multi-use building is where classes & workshops are taught, groups meet, have meals and listen to presentations.

Daytime Hours

Snacks & cold drinks are available; With advance notice we can provide lunch for 4 or more persons. There are picnic tables nearby and inside the Center tables & chairs are available for visitors use.

Visiting groups are invited to enjoy the great outdoors, with shaded-seating areas under the pergola and an adjacent open, grassy area, with plenty of space to play volleyball.

After Hours

For students staying at the Guest House, its a short walk to the Center and evenings are a good time to meet up, watch movies, play games, enjoy ping pong, use the “Besst” Library or just hang out.

Special Events

The Visitors’ Center is available to rent for meetings and special events. It’s the perfect place to have your family event or wedding.

We can assist in planning your event.
